SKUx CEO Joins Blockchain Roundtable at GBBC’s Blockchain Central UNGA, United Nations NYC

SKUx CEO Bobby Tinsley will join an exclusive blockchain roundtable at the United Nations, discussing how DLT is transforming consumer payments and supply chains.

We’re excited to announce that SKUx CEO and co-founder, Bobby Tinsley, will be joining an esteemed panel of thought leaders at the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) 7th annual Blockchain Central UNGA event at the Office of the United Nations in New York, September 23rd. GBBC is the largest industry association for the blockchain technology and digital assets community.

This closed-door, invite only session, hosted in partnership with The HBAR Foundation, will focus on the transformative power of distributed ledger technology (DLT) to bring paperless supply chains and digital transformation to reality.

During the executive roundtable, Bobby will share insights on how SKUx is leveraging distributed ledger technology (DLT) to redefine the future of consumer payments. In collaboration with Hedera Governing Council member and SKUx partner Mondelēz International, SKUx has helped enable a transformative customer service program that reimagines traditional consumer payment methods. By integrating SKUx’s near real-time digital payments, Mondelēz is setting a new standard in consumer engagement, replacing outdated payment tools like coupons, paper checks, and vouchers with a seamless, efficient, and fraud-resistant alternative.

Hedera’s open-source, leaderless proof-of-stake public network plays a pivotal role in this transformation. With an immutable audit trail for SKUx-powered payments, Hedera’s DLT technology not only enhances transparency but also reduces fraud—setting a new benchmark for the CPG and payments industry.

Blockchain Central UNGA, a key event during Global Goals Week, brings together innovators from blockchain, government, technology, and business sectors. Together, they explore how blockchain solutions can accelerate progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), driving meaningful change on a global scale.
