Call to Action — A New Path Forward for Disaster Readiness and Relief

As disasters across the United States grow in frequency, intensity, and cost, our nation faces a critical challenge: how do we deliver relief faster, more efficiently, and with greater accountability? Forecasts show that without new strategies, losses of life, property, and community stability will continue to rise—demanding bold action and a reimagined approach to preparedness and response.

At the same time, inefficiencies in current systems continue to drain resources. In 2024 alone, an estimated $162 billion in improper payments were made across federal programs. This level of waste, fraud, and abuse is not only unsustainable—it directly impacts the people and communities who need support the most.

To meet this moment, a new, results-driven alliance is introducing a transformative solution: the Disaster Resilience Financial Platform (DRFP). This innovative model is designed to deliver resources—funding, basic needs, materials, and mitigation support—before, during, and after disaster events. The goal: help individuals, families, and small businesses not only survive crises, but truly thrive in their aftermath.

Join the National Town Hall

You are invited to be part of this movement and learn how the DRFP can reshape disaster recovery nationwide. The National Town Hall will bring together leading voices in resilience, payments innovation, and community protection:

These leaders will share a unified vision for accelerating relief, reducing systemic waste, and empowering communities to be more resilient.

SKUx is committed to our work with key leaders spanning both the public and private sector as we establish the new standard requirements for powering resources to the right people, at the right time, for the right purpose.

Be Part of the 2026 “Get Stuff Done” (GSD) Campaign

During the November 20, 2025 Town Hall, they will introduce the 2026 GSD Campaign and select five Champion Organizations, Institutions, Partnerships, or Communities to pilot the DRFP. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate on a national model that can change how America prepares, responds, and recovers.

This is your call to action.

Help shape the future of disaster resilience—and ensure that every resource reaches the people who need it most, exactly when they need it.
