Jim has had a tremendous business career partnering with great investors, leaders and teammates.
Beginning with his formative years out of college starting his career at NCR with their great development programs, to an immersion into big consumer data and analytics, to a 22-year career within the Cox Enterprise family of companies through to the development of several entrepreneurial ventures, Jim has delivered.
Over his career, Jim has held various leadership positions focused on strategic planning and implementation, and utilizing lean and continuous process improvement tactics to optimize the value proposition and free cashflows.
Jim had the privilege leading, developing, and collaborating with enterprise wide teams including: Sales and Marketing teams in National Sales, Digital Sales, Franchise Sales, Graphics, Customer Service, New Media Business Development, Research, Network Promotions, and other functional areas including Postal Affairs, Information Technology, and Manufacturing,
He has led transformational projects responsible for: Developing and implementing a national consumer database for a multidisciplinary retailer, developing multichannel sales expertise across Valpak’s 800+ sales representatives in 2012, the reengineering of processes, technology, and automation of a “greenfield” $220 million Valpak Manufacturing Center in St. Petersburg, Florida completed in 2007, leading the transformation of the technology and business implementing SAP during the lead up to the year 2000, and developing several successful entrepreneurial ventures.
