ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., (July 26, 2019) – RapidRMS President Peter Ingram has joined the SKUxchange Advisory Board. Ingram is a highly respected industry thought-leader for the Petroleum and C-Store Industry. He has over 30 years experience working with Fortune 500 companies in retail marketing, operations, technology and payments.

Ingram played a pivotal role in pushing the industry forward into new frontiers, having helped develop groundbreaking technologies from pay-at-the-pump to point-of-sale systems, integrations, data capturing and analytics.

RapidRMS provides C-Store retail management solutions via a suite of next-generation technology solutions and enhancements.

Currently, there are over 150,000 convenience store locations in the United States alone, with an estimated 60% or more of them being single-owner-operated. This fragmentation, along with major issues centered around fraud, reconciliation, and settlement have largely prohibited brands and C-Store operators from running promotional offers and coupon campaigns at scale. Operators are desperate more than ever to incentivize consumers from the pump to inside the store, which is one of the many reasons order-ahead and expanded C-Store food offerings are becoming so prevalent.
